The trafic at the end of the North sea canal connecting Ijmuiden and Amsterdam is pretty heavy.  Decided it will be a good idea to add some visibility to Veni. Got a new radio with tripple watch and integrated B-type AIS transponde from B&G V60-B. It was about time after 18 years to update the radio of the boat. There is an option to use the same antenna by using antenna splitter with an amplifier. I went for this option because the installation was more simple. Looks good. Added a new radar reflector as well.

 First sailing in North Sea starting from the Ijmuiden marina. A wonderful day for sailing.

 During the transfer from Wergea to Grou, the engine overheated and it appear that the water filter was broken. I move the boat to Volvo dealer in Grou and he exchanged it. It appeared that I can stay in Grou for free till 01.04. On the bridges and locks along the Princess Margaritekanal were ongoing several works, so the transfer to my home marina Ijmuiden was difficult. Time to spent some time in Beatiful Friesland. The transfer of Veni to Ijmuiden went after trough Ijselmeer via Lemmer, Enkhuizen, Volendam, Amsterdam. Beutiful 100 nm to start the season with.

 They say the happiest day in a boat owners life are the day he buys a boat and the day he sells it. 11.03.2023 was a happy day for Parashkovs family. It was a snowing entire night before. We became proud owners of Bavaria 30 cruiser sailing boat. We are the fifth owners of the boat. The boat was produced in 2005 and was named Elysium. The engine hours were estimated by the seller to be 1400 hours. The boat has been placed entire time in Friesland by the all four owners. By the second and the third owner the name of the boat has been Kroonduiker, the 4th owner from which I got the boat has named her Boyur. I named her Veni after my beloved wife, and that is her story.
